$300 registration. $200 of every entry will be donated to charity.
There will be no refunds. Registration closes July 5th, 2010.
Course:
* Swim: .46 mile swim in Warner Lake
* Bike: 15 miles through rural, well-marked roads with beautiful scenery of rolling hills and fields. All cyclists must observe MN traffic laws. ANSI or SNELL approved hard-shelled helmets are required. Drafting is prohibited. (see map of bike course)
* Run: 3.1 miles. Race will finish in Warner Lake Park.
Granitekid Triathlon:
Exact course is yet to be determined, but it will be sponsored and organized by North Crest Gymnastics, Dance, and Cheer and will be age apropriate and safe. Swimming aids such as noodles, kick boards, or life preservers will be allowed and life guards will be in the water at all times to insure the kids safety. The bike and run will use the off road trail system that surrounds the park. As of now, the kids race will follow the adults race on Sunday. However if the county parks allow, we will have the kids race on Saturday evening.

Saturday, July 10th 2010
Optional Pre-race packet pick up 6:30 pm at the race site.
Sunday, July 11th, 2010
6:30 - 7:30 am: check in/ body marking/ packet pick-up
7:40 am: mandatory pre-race meeting
8:00 am: race start / Granitekid Race starts after last finisher of adult race.
Waves:
Specific information on waves will be available closer to race day, however waves are generally broken up by male and female age divisions. The Elites, Teams, and Corporate Challenge teams will have their own waves. The non-swimmer wave will start last.

Non Swimmers Wave:
If you don't like to swim, or just don't feel comfortable for any reason, don't worry, we have removed that particular excuse for you not to participate in a triathlon. The last wave will start at the beach area. The non swimmers will run from the beach about 1/2 mile to the transition area where they will get on their bikes and head out to finish the rest of the race course.
Awards:
Our Great Granite awards ceremony will take place immediately after the race. Awards for the first 3 places for males and females in each of the following age groups:
19 and under,20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 and over
Other awards: first overall male and female, last finisher, oldest participant, and youngest participant.
Relay awards: top three places for each relay division

5 miles south of St. Augusta, just off CSAH 75; watch for County Park signs.
CR 75 (Roosevelt Road) from St. Cloud:
Travel to St. Augusta on Stearns County 75. When you come to Stearns County 7 continue south through St. Augusta to Stearns County 44. Travel approximately 2 miles to the intersection of CR 44 & CR 143, and veer left on CR 143. Travel 1-1/2 miles. Warner Lake County Park is located on right. Look for brown "County Park" signs.
I-94 (from Minneapolis/St. Paul):
Take Clearwater exit #178, turn right, going east on State Highway 24. Travel about 1/2 mile to Wright County 75 and turn left (north). Travel 1-1/2 miles to Stearns County Road 143 and turn left. Travel approximately 1-1/2 to 2 miles on County Road 143. Warner Lake County Park is located on left. Look for brown "County Park" signs. The "Clearwater KOA" is a landmark.

Pickle Events, LCC
Pickle Events, which will be electronically timing this event, is led by Brad Pickle. Brad has directed numerous events over the past fifteen years. This race will use Championchip timing, which ensures better accuracy of race results.
