We are very excited to offer you a program of GROUP MUSIC LESSONS, TAKE NOTE! We will begin by offering 3 classes, a preschool music class titled "little ditty's", and two guitar classes, one for the "beginner" and another titled, "guitar, just beyond the basics" for the guy or gal that has figured out the basics and wants to increase their knowledge of chords, strumming, barre chords, finger picking, sliding and string bending. This class would bring a student to an intermediate level of guitar playing.

Chris and Paula Stone have been married for 20+ years and are MN natives living in St. Cloud.  They are the proud parents of 4 children, wh are currently enrolled at North Crest. 

Chris is a well rounded musician with 10 years of formal training on piano, 20+ years of professional experience playing piano, guitar, and saxophone.  Currently Chris is the music and worship director at Calvary Community Church in St. Cloud.

Paula Stone has been a  Minnesota licensed teacher for 16 years with an extensive background in music and music performance.  Currently, Paula is the office director at North Crest and BOA at Edward Jones

Little Ditty's

A music class for preschoolers.  This class will incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, imaginative play and instruments.  This class will provide a developmentally appropriate foundational love for music.  Lesson will encourage the development of values, self confidence and self worth.  Students will gain musical skills and understanding, as well as develop basic cognitive, social and motor skills necessary to succeed in school!!

Intro to Guitar 

An introduction to the guitar.  This class will teach the string names, basic chords, introduce strumming techniques and barre chords.  A weekly practice guide will be given.  Students must bring a guitar.  If bringing an electric, a small amp must be brought as well.

For the guitarist that knows only a few simple chords and wants to increase their knowledge of chords, strumming and barre chords and be introduced to finger picking, sliding and string bending.
